If you are heading north on the A9, perhaps to Tain, Dornoch or Dunrobin, do pop into The Storehouse just to the south of Evanton (27 miles from Drumnadrochit) off the A9, taking great care crossing the A9 if heading north. An excellent café as well an opportunity to shop for boutique Scottish produce.

The Storehouse of Foulis is located 1km from Foulis Castle just off the A9 highway. Open: Mon-Sat 9am-6pm, Sun 10am-5pm. Cafe/Restaurant, Local Produce, Gift Shop, Clansland Museum.

Great place to stop off on the way North or back home! They have a small farmers shop too, and some interesting produce!! Their cakes and lunches are really good value!!

Great, fresh food every day using local ingredients - wonderful cakes and coffee too - on the way from Inverness on the A9 just after the Cromarty Bridge

Wonderful food, cakes and ice-cream served in the restaurant with a great selection of locally souced groceries, gins, jams and gifts to buy and take home. Small museum in the next door building is great for children. Lovely views across the firth (inlet of sea)
