Home to Scotland's outstanding collection of modern and contemporary art not to mention some beautifully sculpted grounds.
This is very close to the property and has a lovely cafe and grounds. On the other side of the road is the Modern Two, so 2 great Art Galleries right beside each other!
Outstanding collection of scottish modern and contemporary art. Lovely gardens also free entry
Great art gallery with nice cafe. The Dean Gallery is across the road and there’s an Antony Gormley statue.
My favourite of all the Scottish Galleries. But then I am a modern art fan. There are two galleries here No 1 and No 2 literally opposite each other across a road you could easily spend a full day in each of them. Located in Edinburgh’s West End there is a gallery link bus from the national gallery…

Рекомендации местных жителей
“The National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh, Scotland, was formed in 2006 with the merger of the new Museum of Scotland, with collections relating to Scottish antiquities, culture and history, and the adjacent Royal Scottish Museum (so renamed in 1904), with collections covering science and technology, natural history, and world cultures. The two connected buildings stand beside each other on Chambers Street, by the intersection with the George IV Bridge, in central Edinburgh. The museum is part of National Museums Scotland. Admission is free.”
