Blank Park Zoo is a 49-acre zoological park on the south side of Des Moines, Iowa, United States, near historic Fort Des Moines. It is a member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, and is the only accredited zoo in Iowa. Blank Park Zoo is gorgeous and just the right size. You can see the whole zoo and yet not be exhausted from the day. They have a little train, face painting for the kids, a playground area. It is well kept and clean. A favorite for young and old.
