Very handy from Spencer Lodge, just a 5 minute drive. The homemade pizzas are really good. Great views across Lake Tarawera.

The world famous Landing Café is on the edge of Lake Tarawera, serving gourmet pizza, NZ sauvignon blanc and NZ beer. Perfect location for breakfast, lunch & dinner with fireside dining in winter.

"The landing cafe" has got regular bookme specials, check it out. Fabulous views over Lake Tarawera day and night. Cafe and Restaurant. If you want to walk from here to hot water beach, it is 4-5 hours full-on. You can also take the ferry but make sure you book beforehand. A thriling experience. Also perfect for swimming.
