Some people will tell you that Silver Star Smokehouse is the better of the two sister smokehouses in Shreveport - hell some people will actually tell you that other places have the better BBQ in town, but those people are wrong and you shouldn't listen to them.....ever. Granted Silver Star IS fancier and clearly shows off their money more than Country Tavern ----- but as far as the ABSOLUTE best BBQ in town, nothing comes close to Country Tavern. Try a salad - they are large enough to feed 3 people :-) DO NOT PASS UP THE AU GRATIN POTATOES!
