Ice Palace: The 1000 square meter hand-made ice palace is reached by a blue staircase with arched rocks which slowly disappears transforming into the ice of the glacier. The carving began in 1930s by two guides with an ice axe and saw. Unfortunately they never finished the carving in its entirety. An everlasting world of ice twinkles before your eyes as you move from long corridors into cavernous rooms and halls filled with niches and ice sculptures. Open all year.
