Close by with a great outdoor terrace for drinks - but there are better places if you want to eat. Very dog friendly.

Local pub with lovely beer garden

This is a huge pub over several floors as the name suggests, overlooking the Preston Park. It house outside seating great for summer evenings. It serves reasonable food, and Sunday lunch, which in the UK means roast meat (or nut loaf) with roast potatoes, vegetables and gravy.
