Daytona Beach Approximately an hour and half drive east from The Horseman's Retreat, visit the “World’s Most Famous Beach”, Daytona Beach. Known for the Daytona International Speedway, which hosts the iconic Daytona 500 NASCAR race, the city’s beach has hard-packed sand where driving is permitted in designated areas of the beach. Near the boardwalk’s rides and arcades, the Daytona Beach bandshell stages free summer concerts. Don’t forget your cooler, towel, sunblock and beach chair.
