The hiking trail near the entrance to the Marina at lake Mead offer a great oppurtunity to walk up to a higher elevation to see stunning views of Lake Mead and walk inside railroad tunnels (inactive).

This is an excellent hike to do early spring. you will hike through abandoned railroad tunnels to the hoover dam!
