The Walkers Hut is perfectly situated next to the South West Coast Path near to Soar Mill Cove. It is on a circular walk past Bolt Head and Overbeck's National Trust. The Walkers' Hut is an honesty cafe based entirely on the goodwill of customers. Cash payments only, please bring plenty of small change! A lovely place that serves delicious homemade cakes and cookies, locally produced juices and drinks, locally produced ice cream, fresh coffee, cream teas. The farm has pets, sheep, pony, donkeys, pygmy goats, as well as a wonderful adventure trail for kids. The animals that live on East Soar are used in a school work, they are around the farm for children to see but touching and interacting with them is solely on own risks A small rustic playground opposite the Walkers' Hut makes it ideal for parents to relax while children play in a safe environment.

East Soar is the perfect starting point for exploring the unspoilt and beautiful coast between Bolt Head & Bolt Tail. Make sure you grab your walking boots and discover the stretch of coast made up of secluded beaches and ragged cliffs! From the car park it is only a mile walk to Overbecks and the route will take you along the runway of what was once RAF Bolt Head. The walk along East Soar is part of the South West Coastal Path. The Walkers Hut at East Soar Outdoor Experience is the perfect place to stop for a cup of tea and slice of cake along the way!
