Fritz Loven Park is just a few miles away from the cabin. It's a great place to visit in the winter or summer! It offers trails through the woods, a playground for kids. In the winter months, there is even a sledding hill.

Relatively undeveloped park along Stony Brook and Gull Lake. The area features brook and brown trout fishing (a trout stamp is required) primitive walking trails, and picnic tables.
