Good pub food right on the beach. Nice pint too.

This is our local pub. Serving great fish and chips and available to eat outside on the beachfront. Music during the summer and has a large screen for sports on TV. Ballydavid Regatta (boat racing) during the summer and also a Potato Competition in July with fun games for adults and kids.

Located overlooking Smerwick Harbour, this cute pub has a great menu at reasonable prices. A short drive from here - google maps will help you find it. Good for a relaxed bite overlooking beauty - often have fresh lobster on the menu too. Kids are welcome until 9pm and the food is delicious. There is a lovely small beach / cove where lots of families congregate with the kids to play in the sand and paddle/swim.
