ESPAÑOL - En el casco antiguo de Cádiz, bodega con encanto donde tapear buen jamón, queso , embutidos de la sierra y guisos tradicionales... Me encanta. ENGLISH - In the old town of Cádiz, a charming winery where you can enjoy good ham (jamón), cheese, sausages from the mountains and traditional stews... I love it. РУССКИЙ - В старом городе Кадиса очаровательная винодельня, где можно насладиться хорошим хамоном, сыром, горными колбасками и традиционными тушеными блюдами... Замечательное место

If you've had enough fish in Cádiz, this is the place to come for some really good meat with hams and sausages hanging all over the place. Tapas bar at the front, restaurant at the back (if you're lucky you'll be served by a fearsome bull of a man that looks like he takes his food as seriously as he does regularly (excellent recommendations, mind you!). Try the tapa or bigger ración of carrillada Iberica picante (slightly spicy slow-cooked Iberian pig cheek stew) and a montadito de paleta y presa iberica (juicy pork steak topped with Iberican jamón in a bread roll), or if you want something more substantial try the excellent entrecote de presa Iberica (juicy shoulder steak) or the local beef (Carne Retinto). Good selection of well priced wine, too.

(regularly excellent recommendations, mind you!). Always extremely busy - we would recommend getting there early and sitting at the bar, that way you have the entire range of bar tapa available to you and can also order larger portions from the menu of the restaurant at the back if you wish. The food comes out quickly and in no particular order so we find it best to order as you eat rather than ending up being served it all at once! The stand out Dish for us here is the tapa of Abanico al Pedro Ximimez, this is a simple looking Iberico rib meat stew with potatoes, but the flavour of the sauce and tenderness of the meat is sublime-its pure comfort food. Try also the tapa or bigger ración of carrillada Iberica picante (slightly spicy slow-cooked Iberian pig cheek stew) The tapa of spicy hot Chorizo skewers is also excellent as is the Montadito de paleta y presa iberica (juicy pork steak topped with Iberican jamón in a bread roll), or if you want something more substantial try the excellent Entrecote de presa Iberica (juicy shoulder steak) or the local beef (Carne Retinto).
