A blue-domed structure situated on top of a hill in the Lake Gardens is the National Planetarium of Malaysia. The main entrance is evocative of a teleport chamber which leads into a series of halls containing two planetariums that have interactive exhibits (touch-screen interactive computers and hands-on experiments) plus a Space Theatre. The National Planetarium also has an observatory where visitors can gaze into the sky to look at distant planets through a telescope. It’s a fun and educational place for kids to learn about the planet and universe. It is connected by an overhead pedestrian bridge to the National Museum of Malaysia.
