You can buy one of the cheapest meals in Puerto Vallarta. The ambience of the market is very authentic and there is a good selection of meat, vegetables and deli items.

The Emiliano Zapata Market is located on Lazaro Cardenas and is notated on the Romantic Zone Map. Each time we’ve visited this market we’ve marveled at the beauty of these fresh and colorful fruits and vegetables. And right on site is a corn tortilla factory that makes delicious fresh tortillas daily; customers order their tortillas by weight. Also within this market is a little store where you can buy fresh-squeezed pineapple juice that is so refreshing; this tasty treat is served in little plastic bags with a straw coming out.
