Roosevelt Row is downtown Phoenix's walkable arts district, home to art galleries, restaurants, bars and boutique shops in a landscape dotted by colorful street art. First Fridays, one of the nation's largest self-guided art walks, happens on the first Friday of every month as the name suggests. Many galleries across downtown Phoenix are open for anyone to stop by and look around. Roosevelt Row visitors can take in an evening of street music, pop-up markets and tasty food trucks.

A must visit neighborhood with great restaurants and events. Arizona Wilderness for cocktails and lively patio, IL Bosco for pizza, Sosoba for noodles, Châm Pang Lanes for pool/pinball bowling/food and Greenwood Taproom (women-owned) for craft beer. A pleasant 30 minute walk or 18 minutes on the light rail. Not to miss is a monthly “First Friday” event where the streets are lined with artists selling their work and live music.

Roosevelt Row is a bit far but easily accessible via the light rail. This neighborhood began as an artist's area and while it's much more polished now it's a fun place to spend the day between breweries, coffee shops and First Fridays.
