Very easy hike doesn't take more than 2hrs at a relaxed pace, and the view on top is amazing

A 2-hour climb to the top will reward you with spectacular views. The climb can be a little tricky in places. Leave from the coffee kiosk and keep left or walk on the right-hand path around the head for a more relaxed experience.

If you enjoy hiking, then have a look at the different hiking trails available such as Lions head, Signal hill, Hout Bay and Chapmans peak to name but a few.

You don't need a permit to climb Lion's Head, and there is no entrance fee. It's a good idea to stick to popular hiking times, which include all daylight hours, and at night during the full moon.
