In my opinion the best fish & chips near the flat. Like every chippy in Edinburgh they'll ask if you want "salt n sauce!" (it's a mix of vinegar and brown sauce) I hate it, but I'll let you decide.

A little out of the Centre, but it’s only a 20 minute taxi ride. The restaurant has beautiful surroundings and a impressive modern menu filled with regional produce.

Edinburgh’s famous Witchery restaurant by Edinburgh Castle. The restaurant has two parts; The Witchery and the Secret Garden. I’d recommend the Secret Garden but both offer the ultimate Scottish experience.
