Located under Petits Plats and run by the same people. Amazing pizza plus anything else I ever tried was superb. Mostly for takeaway, but if it's nice you can eat outside.

It took 100 years to build and it feels like it. Built on the highest point in the District has city-wide monument views fabulous gardens as well. $10-ish admission.

24 hour convenience store. A safe walk 24 hours as well-- the official residence for Director of the FBI is about halfway along the way and there's always at least one guard visible/handy-- plus likely a half-dozen or so more you don't see.
