Great local place to eat a good pizza or other meals. It is a small restaurant with good atmosphere and good prices as well. You do have to make a reservation as it is a popular place.

The Vondelpark is great to be with your kids. It has three good safe playgrounds, one even with a swimmingpool in summer. Hidden in the trees there is also a safe canopy walk.

Not too far from our home, just 15 minutes on the bike you will find the Museum square. This is a nice open space where you will find the Concert building (classical music) or Rijksmuseum.

Take the train from Schiphol to Station Lelylaan. From here it is only 3 stops to Surinameplein where you will get out and walk 3 minutes to our apartment.

If you want to relax and go to a spa this is the only good one in Amsterdam. It is modern, pretty new and has many facilities. it is located next to the forest, so you can make a hike too.
