If you'd like to get out on the lake, there are a number of options for you!
You can always book a ride on the iconic Minnehaha, Lac du Saint Sacrement, or the Mohican. There are hour long tours, half day, full day and sunset cruises. There are dinner and special events such as sessions focused on historical narration or to highlight the local fireworks display. There's something for everyone!

If your family is anything like ours, a vacation is never complete without taking a tour or two around a mini-golf course! We like Around the World/Around the US (near the Pink Roof Ice Cream and Deuce Moose for those with kids old enough - parents can hang back at the Moose while the kids play! SCORE!). Other good ones are Pirate's Cove and Goony Golf, which is a classic and is located about 1.5 miles from the house!

We like Around the World/Around the US (near the Pink Roof Ice Cream and Deuce Moose for those with kids old enough - parents can hang back at the Moose while the kids play! SCORE!). Other good ones are Pirate's Cove and Goony Golf, which is a classic and is located about 1.5 miles from the house!
Built in 1963, Around the World and Around the US is one of the oldest and most unique mini golf courses in the country.
A major perk for us is its proximity to the Deuce Moose (for parental distraction) and the Pink Roof Ice Cream stand!

For pizza - our standout favorite is Giuseppe's in the Village You can order for delivery or dine in. Family-owned and very, very good! If you dine in, they also have some great sangrias and other local cocktails.

Winter in Lake George
While the summer trips were our initial draw to the Adirondacks, I have to say that we've come to adore the peace and tranquility of the winters at Lake George!
Approximately 30 minutes away in North Creek, NY, Gore is a terrific ski destination. With over 100 trails and a terrain park, it's the biggest on offer in our immediate area!

In our opinion, the fine dining locally is best found in Bolton Landing.
We love the Chateau on the Lake in Bolton. They have beautiful grounds that lead down to the lake, outdoor fire pits for for a cocktail before or after dinner, and outdoor dining, in addition to a dining room in the house. They also have an excellent brunch!
