Highly Recommend! North Creek. Over the river and through the woods - Pedal your way along and over the Hudson River on these specially made Rail Bikes that are attached to the old railroad. Offers 2 person side by side or 4 person rail bikes. Flat and no hills so it is great for young and old. Kids can just ride along with adults if they don't want to pedal. 2 hour excursion. Allow extra time to stop in the small museum for some interesting history of the area!

Revolution Rail Co. offers railbiking as a fun excursion activity that allows riders to ride the railroad tracks under their own power and explore a section of the Adirondacks that has never seen passenger traffic. We did both routes offered as a family and everyone enjoyed it (the photo here was taken on the North Bridge run). It is very popular and books far in advance so book well ahead!

One hour drive. Scenic tour. Ride out takes some minor leg power basically coast on the return. ❤️
