An absolutely beautiful spot as you head into Custer State Park. Lots of wonderful hiking trails, and on the warmer days, you can't beat swimming in the lake.

A must-see, in my opinion, it should only take an hour of your day, but it really is impressive.

Less know, but equally as impressive as Mt Rushmore. Located only 5 min outside of Custer. I highly recommend checking it out.

An absolutely beautiful lake to spend the day and rent a boat from the marina. Ask the people in the marina for the cliff jumping spot. It's been a favorite of my kids for years.

The last time my family drove this loop, we ran into a herd of over 100 buffalo. The loop usually takes an hour or two to complete, but well worth it, especially if you run into a herd of buffalo.

Another amazing cave in the area. If you are going to do both Jewel and Wind cave, I recommend doing Wind Cave first.
