Great food and view from this restaurant located in the Sunriver Lodge. A 15 minute drive from our Cub Cave. In the winter time, the lodge is beautifully lit with Christmas lights and the lights you see from the restaurant are timed to music for the Christmas season.

From the top of Lava Butte you can see the flow of lava. During spring and summer there's a shuttle but the fall and winter you have to hike the paved trail to the top.

The original portion of Fall River Hatchery construction was completed in 1929. Many improvements have been made since original construction. In 1952 the ten raceways were completed. The hatchery produces legal and trophy sized rainbow trout, and provides rainbow, brook and cutthroat trout fingerlings for air stocking programs throughout the state. The facility traps and spawns brown trout at a remote site.
