I recommend the Coffee Company over Starbucks any time. These guys know how to make good coffee, offer free WiFi, and it's located on a walking distance from the studio.

Hands down one of my favourite spots for food. This is where multicultural Amsterdam is defined. World of food has many foodstalls, varying from Indian, Thai, Indonesian, Surinamese, Burgers, Armenian, Liberian and Ghanese foods.
My favourite is the Surinamese BBQ shop, where they sell 'Pom'. You can eat 'Pom' on a sandwich or with rice. Also, try the Mango and Coconut Lassi at the Indian store on the upper level. It's a pleasure for your tastebuds.
It is reachable by public transit, take the metro 53 to Venserpolder, and walk for 12 minutes.
Parking is free, and close to the highway, if you're with car, it's easy to grab a bite here.
