Be sure to check out Avanti Food and Beverage, which boasts great views from their rooftop patio, O'linger, a funeral home turned restaurant, and the iconic, oversized milk can that holds the Little Man Ice Cream shop near Hirshorn Park. Located just 1.5 miles from our house!

Visit City Park and its surrounding neighborhood- a trendy area dominated by its namesake green space, featuring picnic spots, playgrounds and lakeside trails. Within the park, the Denver Museum of Nature & Science has a planetarium, an IMAX theater and temporary shows, while exotic reptiles and events draw families to nearby Denver Zoo (keep your ears peeled to hear the sea lions while walking through the park!). South of the park, East Colfax Avenue has cool cafes, retro-style bars and the Bluebird Theater concert venue.

A short 20-30 min drive from downtown, be sure to visit this beautiful lookout, also home to the museum and grave of Buffalo Bill. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the buffalo herd that congregates just off the interstate exit when driving here.

Evans at 14,264 ft. Keep your eyes peeled for mountain goats, big horn sheep, pikas, and other alpine wildlife, and enjoy the panoramic views of the Front Range and Rockies.
