As the name suggests this place serve basically one thing... Bacon Rolls! It has a full spit roasted pig on proud display in the window each day and you will often find a queue spiraling down the street full of people eager to sample the famous rolls!

An absolute must in the bar scene in Edinburgh!

They have over 300 types of whisky including special edition bottles and one off's so perfect for anyone wanting to experience Scotland's whisky selection! It is a great way to spend a few hours especially if its raining!
It also has seasonal paid exhibitions such as the Royal Fashion Exhibition which features royal clothing from across the centuries.
There is a viewing platform on the roof that provides unbeatable views of the city and castle!

This three-story house was built back in 1470 and has been converted into a small museum which tells the story of two of its most famous inhabitants, James Mossman and John Knox as well as the story of the Reformation period and life in 16th century Edinburgh. James Mossman was a jeweler and goldsmith as well as the keeper of the Royal Mint for the Stuart royalty. John Knox was a significant Protestant religious reformer of the 16th century whose ideas clashed with those of Catholic Mary Queen of Scots. A really interesting museum both due to the house itself and the exhibition! Highly recommended!
