The name is exactly what it is....a valley. The view from the lookout is breathtaking. If you want to go down into the valley, you can by foot or 4 wheel drive. The mountain water flows freely from waterfalls and the streams flow and open up to meet the Ocean. Wild horses roam and the lush green landscape will remind you why this is paradise.

Beautiful place to have lunch and enjoy the Hilo sun....if it's out! The ice cold brackish water makes for a good morning wake up and feels especially nice on a hot day.
