57 Kamehameha HwyThere are 2 hikes there in close proximity. We usually do them together. Beautiful scenery! One is quite easy though it is uphill and the other a bit more complicated. Both easy to find, but parking is a bit of a Hassel, since it's a neighborhood.

Perfection! Parking is hard so we recommend you arrive early (maybe after going to see the sunrise in the Makapuu lighthouse).

Closest store to the house (about 3 minutes away). They have everything. Right beside the store, you will find a few food trucks. Please don't park in foodland, but in the parking lot designated for the food trucks.

Depending on how long you have - but we recommend just driving around the island - you see something interesting - stop and have a look. Everything is so beautiful and so welcoming! The island has 4 very different sides and all at close driving proximity- take at least one day for each side if possible. It is crazy how things change with in a few minutes drive.
