The staff is awesome and very helpful and informative. Location is great. We took the off-highway bike trail up to the Talac Historical Park and loved every minute.

An easy morning stroll to the Red Hut Café is a great way to start your day! There Hot Chocolate is amazing and I love their eggs. Later in the day come back for an ice cream sundae.

They have great outdoor dining with views of the lake. When the weather is warm, we love walking down for breakfast. Their firepit is also a big draw.

We love their outdoor patio dining in the summertime with their great views, their indoor dining by the fireplace in the wintertime, and their food and ambiance all year round.

Camp Richardson has a great beach and is very popular. It gets a bit busy here in the summer months. The neighboring Pope Beach attracts a lot of local folks.

It's listed as being one of the top 10 Beaches at Lake Tahoe. My husband & I typically prefer the out-of-the way, hike-to beaches on the East Shore - just to get away from the crowds.

This is a great place to visit in Autumn (end of September, first part of October). They have a great loop trail that will take you to a bridge where you can see the salmon. A little beyond that is an underground viewing area where, if you are lucky, you can see the salmon up close. And if you still have energy and time, take the side hike down to the lake. The autumn colors and the views of the mountain are breathtaking. It's a great outing for kids and still a lot of fun for adults.

Who doesn't enjoy a good massage. BioSpirit is walking distance from our place. The place is clean, quiet, peaceful, & relaxing. The staff was awesome. We even had a steam bath before our massages.

Take the Gondola up to the top of Heavenly Ski Resort to see the beautiful vistas of Lake Tahoe. Once at the top, they have a restaurant, summer activities, or winter sports.

Emerald Bay is found on the northwest side of Lake Tahoe. You can take a hike down to Vikingsholm, Tahoe's hidden castle, or you can take a hike up to Eagle Lake or Cascade Falls.

We came upon the Tallac Historic Site one day when we were out on a bike ride by Camp Richardson. It was very interesting to learn some of the early history of South Lake Tahoe.
