Originally known as the Gasparilla Island Light Station, the Port Boca Grande Lighthouse is the oldest structure on the island and has been a beacon to mariners since 1890. Do not swim at this pass beach, as there are many sharks in the pass, due to the large amount of wonderful Tarpon living there.

Check out the lighthouse museum and learn about the history of the barrier island. November - May Monday - Saturday 11:00 am to 4:00 pm Sunday 12:00 pm to 4 pm

Beautiful historic lighthouse set in glorious beaches looking out over Charlotte Harbour and the Gulf Islands. Interesting Museum, great views from lighthouse and surrounding beaches, fabulous wildlife, romantic sunsets
