Biking, Exploring, Forts and beautiful beaches to make up a great day!
This is a very large state park ($5 entry fee per car). Many beaches to choose from North Beach to South Beach. On windy days you can watch windsurfers. They also have a campground, fishing pier, dog park, and dog friendly beach.
Voted one of the best beaches in the US! Cool historic fort remains. Rent kayaks and paddle through the mangroves or take the ferry to a private island with a lighthouse.
Stands on the site of a former military outpost used for observations and bombing. Now famous for beaches and views of Sunshine Skyway Bridge.

“Swimwear, hats, kayacks, bumpers for your boat. West Marine has the essentials and they carry brands you trust. Check this out before you hit the tourist "traps" on Gulf Blvd.”
