Just a 10-minute drive away, and listed on the State and National Historic Register, the North Creek Railroad Station is remember by history as the place where Theodore Roosevelt on September 14, 1901 learned of the death of President McKinley and of his own succession to the Presidency of the United States. Please note: The train no longer is in operation, but visitors are still welcome to check out this historic station.
