Woolgoolga RSL Golf Club is a picturesque18 hole course situated between the pacific ocean and darkum creek at Safety Beach NSW. The par 72 layout is suited to golfers of all levels with its generous fairways and reachable greens. However, accuracy is a must due to carefully placed bunkers, lakes and hazards as well as the sometimes tricky pin placements and varying ocean breezes. The signature holes are the short par 3 11th which is reached by hitting over water on to it's difficult sloping multi-leveled green, and the long par 4 8th that features the 'out of bounds fence' running all the way down it's left hand side with a creek and a network of bunkers guarding it's smallish green. The course also features a vast display of native wildlife including a huge population of kangaroos.

A pretty course, complete with kangaroos. Modest clubhouse for afternoon drinks overlooking the greens.
