An Amsterdam favourite. Converted tram depot, now with a foodcourt filled with international food, cinema, shops and more!
Tired of walking de whole day? Catch a movie at "The filmHallen" Want to buy something authentic? Visit one of the small galleries. Or if you're in for a small (or big) bite, have a look at the Foodhallen, for sure there will be something you like to eat there!
De Hallen is a monument built between 1902 and 1928. Once the first electric trams were serviced here. But today it houses a great area filled with media, culture, fashion, food and crafts, a libary, hotel, cinema, local markt and foodhall.
This is Amsterdam’s foodcourt! Really nice to go for a drink and some food. Can be crowded in the weekends.

“Similar to Central Park in New York City, with its expansive natural areas. Very beautiful park that is often filled with people on nice, sunny days. It is located in the Old South section of Amsterdam, a very affluent area.”

“At this cozy cafe they have a Flemish Limburg map. The menu changes with seasons and always has 4 starters and main courses, from fish to meat and vegetarian.”
