I recommend to go up by hiking and get down by the cableway. Going up by walking is the nicest experience you can have, of course this is an activity for people that love outdoors and workout. If you don't like hiking you can use the cableway instead.

Iconic church in the top of the mountain. It's an unmissable ten minutes beautiful walk.

You need to take the teleferico (cable) to go up to the mountain and see the whole bogota city.
