Never to be overlooked is the fact that Mt. Rose offers Tahoe’s highest base skiing and snowboarding. With a base elevation of 8,260,’ our parking lots are higher than some resorts peaks, ensuring the most supreme snow conditions throughout the season, even on the warmest spring days.

“This is a huge shopping mall with the most-upper-end stores to hit Reno yet. People in Tahoe and newbies from California shop this mall frequently, as it brings in high-end shopping that Reno currently lacks in other malls.”

“Boreal features nine chairlifts and offers night skiing until 9 pm. It is one of the smaller resorts in Tahoe, but a great place for beginners to learn or for more advanced riders to hit the Woodward terrain park! It is also the only ski resort that offers night skiing in the area.”
