“Łazienki Królewskie - a palace and garden complex in Warsaw founded in the 18th century by Stanisław August Poniatowski. The name comes from the baroque bathhouse pavilion, erected in the 1880s by Stanisław Herakliusz Lubomirski and rebuilt by Stanisław August Poniatowski into the palace on the island. In addition to buildings, pavilions and free-standing sculptures, there are four gardens: Royal, Romantic, Modernist and Chinese. From 1960, the team is the seat of the Royal Łazienki Museum.”
