Visit our museum with its many artifacts donated by neighbouring communities. Interested in the shipbuilding era or are you looking for cemetery information? Come search our database. Our panels "A Walk Through Time" tell the story of how life on the Richibucto River has evolved. Take a stroll and enjoy learning about the regions past. Don’t rush, sit in the shade, and enjoy the scenery and lovely summer breeze. And as you pass the Community Gardens you will approach the homestead of Rev. James Law and birthplace of Andrew Bonar Law, get a guided tour of the homestead. Here you can enjoy a glass of lemonade and a favourite cookie. See how people in the 1800's whiled away the hours with their fancy handiwork. You can also visit the barns that occupy some animals and all sorts of tools, and learn of their functions. The Festival Area can be rented for various events, reunions, birthdays or family gatherings, with lots of room to play. Take use of our outdoor bandstand, roofed, overlooking the water. Check out our rental options. Bring you kids to play, we have a great children’s play area; there’s lots of fun to be had climbing, swinging and sliding!

Bonar Law Common is at jct. hwys. 134 and 116. It preserves former British prime minister Andrew Bonar Law's 1858 birthplace. The original house and barns still stand on this former farm. The Richibucto River Museum contains historical documents, portraits and other artifacts. On the grounds are an interpretive walking trail, a festival area and an area for croquet, farmers golf and other games. Guided tours and special events are offered during the summer. Guided tours are available.
