The Elan Valley reservoirs are picturesque & offer plenty of walks & cycling. In full flood head for the big dam at the visitor centre! Theres a nice cafe with home made cakes & soups ( some GF).

The Elan Valley is a stunning series of Victorian reservoirs built to supply fresh water to Birmingham. There a walking trails, Mountain Bike routes and views points. Electric bikes are available for hire here,a great way to enjoy the stunning scenery. The visitor centre has a cafe and an interesting museum, kids play area.

The Centre is 4 miles away. There is paid parking there. Inside there is a museum with a must see film which shows every 10 - 15 mins explaining about the making of the dams and the surrounding area.
