Closest place for pint (w/ patio). This place is a classic in Vancouver. There is a private liquor store attached if you're looking for a bottle of wine (to bring to the beach and watch the sunset)!

You simply can’t beat Darby’s rooftop patio during this nice sunny weather, and it’s even better with a refreshing beer. Darby’s has 32 craft, imported, and domestic beers on tap, so there’s plenty of choice. Enjoy the consistently good 33 Acres beer on special on Sunday nights, specifically the Echo beer – a seasonal blonde India Session Ale, with notes of citrus and pine, and a smooth finish. Surprisingly good place to grab a drink but also a bite. The food here is pretty much pub food - think burgers, fries, and wings. They have daily specials as well as after hours (10 pm) specials. Plenty of seats inside and on the patio. I would recommend the burgers.
