A park with miniature train, pony-rides, a lake to swim in, and trails to explore... Home to bears and mountain lions, here's a little bit of wilderness right next to home.

Tilden Park is a place you may wan to visit. Great place for a nature hike, picnic, cycling & etc. A good experience to ride the redwood valley steam train and many more to explore at the park. Enjoy the spectacular views and bay views.

The park is between the Berkeley Hills and San Pablo Ridge. Its main entrance is near Kensington, Berkeley, and Richmond. The park is contiguous with Wildcat Canyon Regional Park. Tilden Regional Park was named in honor of Charles Lee Tilden, a Bay Area attorney and businessman who served on the first Board of Directors of the East Bay Regional Park District.
