“If you like your comedy served up in a barn, love the American flag, appreciate a nice pair of overalls, and have a hankering to see country folk smacking each other upside the head with fake corn on the cob, then you won’t want to miss The Comedy Barn in Pigeon Forge. This comedy show has been crackin’ jokes and showing off their barnyard animals for more than a decade, so they must be doing something right! Insider Tips: If you are part of a large group, make sure to tell The Comedy Barn staff who the group leader is. This will increase the chance of your group’s leader being brought up on stage!”

“WonderWorks, which is located inside a humongous upside-down building, is one of the most popular attractions in Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountains. The WonderWorks attraction is a combination of a science fair, amusement park, and children’s museum all rolled up into one huge experience. The admission price includes access to over 150 activities ranging from roller coaster simulators to black light ropes courses. In my opinion, the wide appeal of the WonderWorks exhibits is the strongest reason to visit. WonderWorks simultaneously entertains young children, teenagers, and adults – the plentiful attractions are truly fun for people of all ages! Depending on the crowds and how many exhibits your party decides to interact with, the experience should take between two and four hours. Some of the attractions and exhibits include: Inversion Tunnel – As you enter the WonderWorks experience, you will pass through an inversion tunnel. Hang on to the rails – the combination of the colors, patterns, and circular motion will make you feel like you are upside down. Xtreme 360 – Imagine a pedal-powered, upside-down carnival ride. The speed at which you pedal determines the rate of your upside-down revolutions. Hurricane Simulator – Step into this small room to see what a 65 mile per hour wind feels like. Don’t worry you don’t get wet. The word hurricane is a little misleading – this is nothing more than a low-speed wind tunnel. Bed of Nails – See what it feels like to lay down on a bed made out of 3,497 nails! Don’t worry it won’t hurt a bit. Climbing Wall – The rock climbing wall, which is a beginner level, is a fun physical challenge for everyone. Race a friend or family member to the top and earn bragging rights. Wonder Coaster – This multiple-axis virtual roller coaster will take you through seemingly endless loops and rolls. The coaster has a full 360 degrees of pitch and roll that is sure to get your adrenaline pumping! Ropes Course – The indoor ropes course, which is the largest in the world, is over 50 feet tall! The course is sure to please adrenaline junkies and families alike. As you climb 4 stories of rope, you will cross tremor bridges, swinging beams, and experience over 50 obstacles. Due to the black lights, the entire course has a psychedelic atmosphere. In my opinion, the ropes course is the best attraction at WonderWorks Pigeon Forge. The above list is just a small sampling of the 150+ exhibits and attractions at WonderWorks Pigeon Forge.”

“apanese restaurants are hard to come by in Pigeon Forge, but Little Tokyo fills every guest's need for fresh sushi and tasty hibachi favorites. Despite its hole-in-the-wall façade, this little eatery knows how to serve up Asian flavors right! Best of all, the portions are huge, so if you leave Little Tokyo hungry, it's certainly not the staff's fault. Menu Favorites: Little Tokyo’s extensive menu includes classics such as hibachi chicken, hibachi shrimp and scallops, and other combinations, so you can’t go wrong with ordering your favorite. One of the real stars of this restaurant, however, is the Little Tokyo Special, which consists of filet mignon, chicken, and shrimp prepared with the chef’s special sauce. Another great option is the Samurai Dinner, a combination of filet mignon, lobster, and shrimp. But if these specials are too heavy on your budget, even a single-protein menu item is guaranteed to please. As for sushi options, Little Tokyo offers everything from simple salmon rolls to ruby rolls. If sitting at the sushi bar, the chefs tend to be friendly and aren’t afraid to interact with customers while crafting their favorite rolls. And what Japanese meal would be complete without hot sake? Little Tokyo serves $5 Ozeki hot sake or $15 bottles depending on your preference. You can even enjoy Kikkoman plum wine by the glass or bottle. Insider Tips Little Tokyo is centrally located off the Parkway on Teaser Lane at the end of a small shopping center. Visitors can also access it from the Parkway by turning into Bullfish Grill and driving past the seafood restaurant’s parking lot. Save money by visiting Little Tokyo during lunch hours from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can order the same menu item for up to $4 less and still get the soup, salad, vegetables, and fried rice that comes along with the entrée. Dinner specials, including the Little Tokyo Special, are only available after 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and after 3 p.m. on weekends. Little Tokyo also offers an Early Bird Special on weekdays from 3 to 5 p.m., excluding holidays. Coming early can also help you avoid lengthy wait times, especially during peak tourist season.”
