Primary is a true gem in Nottingham. This former school has been tastefully turned into a gallery space, a number of shops as well as artists' studios. Don't be fooled by the understated interiors of this space: Primary studios are home to artists who have shown all over the world including the Venice Biennale. Studio visits can be arranged with individual artists and the galleries is open most weekends (check the website beforehand). To top all of this off, Primary is also home to an absolutely amazing bakery called Small Food Bakery which is open Thursday to Saturday. Try one of their homemade sourdough pizzas and you will just want to stay to eat another, and another, and another ...
