Excellent place with awesome views. I think its the best place in San Diego for views. National Parks pass is free to enter $10 per vehicle
Cabrillo National Monument is at the southern tip of the Point Loma Peninsula in San Diego, California, United States. It commemorates the landing of Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo at San Diego Bay on September 28, 1542. Entry is free with National Parks Annual Pass.
This is a great way to see a wonderful historic national monument and the old Point Loma lighthouse. The scenery is absolutely stunning but the hills can be a little challenging for people who have a hard time walking. There is a charge to get in.
A must go if you stay in our studio. Great views of San Diego. You wont regret it. Bring some comfortable clothes if you want to hike a couple of hilly miles.

“What's a trip to San Diego without seeing the ZOO! It is World-Famous for a reason. ”

“Great place for hiking and dramatic coastal views. My favorite hike is the Ho Chi Minh trail (start from Torrey Pine's Gliderport). You can hike down to Black's Beach from there -- San Diego's very own nude beach! The Ho Chi Minh trail hike is challenging, you'll have to walk through slot canyons, streams and climb down the side of a rock with a rope. There is a more accessible trail right next to the Gliderport. ”

“Amazing snorkeling in a protected giant coral filled kelp forest surrounded by bright orange Garibaldi fish while seals swish by and sun themselves on rocks. ”
