“The Royal Mile is a succession of streets forming the main thoroughfare of the Old Town of Edinburgh. It is a historical & cultural playground begging to be explored – from the castle to the palace, explore this delightful cobbled stretch.....the alleys, nooks & crannies. ”

“Pretty, old village beside a Loch and beside Arthur's Seat. The old Kirk and gardens are a lovely to wander around and you can walk around the Loch - great for bird walking. Great, ancient traditional pub called The Sheep Heid which also sells great pub grub - a must for a traditional Sunday Lunch. Has an our door beer garden and a skittle alley (which you need to book in advance)”

“The best formal Afternoon Tea in town - is in the Balmoral Hotel on the corner of Princes Street & North Bridge. Very elegant, with a musician playing gentle music from the minstrel's gallery above. Allow a couple of hours for this haven from the busy city.”
