The Harbour Inn is the best place for sit down fish and chips. Get there early for a seat in the original part of the pub for the authentic Southwold fish and chip experience. The smoked haddock and chips with minted mushy peas is our all time favourite.

Wonderfull Adnams pub in Southwold Harbour. serves very generous pub grub. Last time we went we had an amazing veegetarian take on classic fish and chips with a huge piece of deep fired Haloumi.

You cannot beat the fish and chips (always order the awesome minted mushy peas) in this beautiful pub that looks out over the water. The sticky toffee pudding isn't to be missed either. Make sure you watch the sun setting one evening from this pub too. The huge garden is perfect for lazy summer evenings and makes it very dog and kid friendly.

Great Adnams pub with an entrance facing onto the marshes of Southwold, and another onto the working harbour with it's sailboats and fishing boats providing a great backdrop for photos at sunset. Lovely summer pub with benches outside.
