Great cajun food, born out of a staple restaurant (Freeman and Harris Cafe). It's on Cross Lake and would make a great place to visit, if just for the scenery.

Soul food establishment with great fried fish, stuffed shrimp, and variety of foods. Get there early as they close at 8 pm and often have a wait time for 1 hour.
