This center is located on the grounds of Florida Southern College and hosts a permanent showcase of photographs, paintings, drawings, and furniture of Frank Lloyd Wright, a famous American architect from the region. The building within which the museum sits is part of the Florida Southern College Historic District and is itself a Historic Landmark and also has the claim to fame of being the largest collection of Frank Lloyd Wright architecture in the world. There are walking tours that guests here can sign up for, and you can choose from self guided walks to full behind-the-scenes tours with knowledgeable local volunteers. Exhibits on Frank Lloyd Wright's work at Florida Southern College & tours of his 10+ buildings. The Sharp Family Tourism and Education Center provides a home for the permanent display of photographs, furniture, and drawings depicting Wright’s relationship with the College. The Center also acts as a home for visiting exhibits on loan from various other Wright sites. In 2012, the Florida Southern College Historic District was designated a National Historic Landmark by the National Park Service of the U.S. Department of the Interior for being the largest single-site collection of Frank Lloyd Wright architecture in the world.
