Epanomi Shipwreck is near Potamos Beach and near “Myti” at Epanomi or “Fanari” Beach is a unique location and amongst the most beautiful beaches in Greece. It flirts with both sides of the bay; one towards Thessaloniki and the other towards Chalkidiki, the tip magically disappears into the sea. It boasts bright blue waters, an endless golden sandy beach and a deep blue sea that stretches into the distant horizon. This Beach is only accessible by a 4×4 vehicle or on foot (about a half kilometre walk).

Fanari beach or Potamos beach is a unique location and amongst the most beautiful beaches in Greece. It flirts with both sides of the bay; one towards Thessaloniki and the other towards Chalkidiki, the tip magically disappears into the sea. It boasts bright blue waters, an endless golden sandy beach and a deep blue sea that stretches into the distant horizon. This Beach is only accessible by a 4x4 vehicle or on foot (about a half kilometre walk). Its most impressive point is the wreckage from a ship that sunk fourty (40) years ago, whose smoke stacks are still visible and it is known as the shipwreck. It’s a great opportunity to explore underwater while snorkeling this intact shipwreck.

Further than Potamos you will find another monument of Epanomi in the crystal clear water. It is a sunken ship, also known as the "shipwreck of Epanomi", during the dictatorship carried out soil transport operations in order to "embrace" a special beauty and unique natural beauty, where hundreds of fauna species and about 2,500 flowers and plants grow. The nature, there, is pure and the wetland is protected by “Natura 2000” program.
